Amazing hibachi style food That will leave you blown away!!!!! Me and several of my friends came here, fully expecting decent food, and not expecting to be completely astounded by the quality and taste of the food served. Fast and neat service with attentive yet courteous staff. Will absolutely recommend to everyone with taste buds!!!

Ate here once, and now I get takeout weekly for the family and me. Great food, great service. Whether you eat in or take out, it's always amazing.

You got to get the Steak & Chicken with fried rice. Not white, for the full experience. They serve a pretty healthy portion. And they have 2 different sauces that complement each bite. Add a Coca- cola and you’re in business. Everyone in there is super cool too.

Oh my, this food was fresh, cooked perfectly, and tasted Amazing!!! The salmon is cooked to perfection and steak was so tender and flavorful!!! I will definitely be back with the family!! There is something for everybody!! Plus, the staff were polite, helpful, and welcoming.

I absolutely love this place! Discovered it a few years ago working out here now every time I’m in the Bay Area I have to come here.

My husband and I are hooked on Sumo Grill. The food is delicious and the portions are a good size. I'm vegetarian, so my "go to" dish is the Hibachi Tofu. Hubby loves teh Hibachi Scallops. We like the garlic rice instead of basic white rice. The service is fast, they always get our orders right, and deliver with a smile. We order here at least once a week. Highly recommend!

How do you improve on perfection? You cannot. Sumo Grill is our new go-to place in Martinez. As you can see the food is a visual delight and you get LOTS for your money. I love the garlic rice and the Chicken and Pork Katsu is easily 2 servings and everything is delicious. The people who own this place are so sweet and I wish them many years of success.

I’ve been grubbing from this local restaurant for the past 3 years . I give out unbiased reviews and critique on multiple locations . The food can be cooked to your liking if you request it . I have had couple times where my food wasn’t cooked accordingly but after discussion with owners and honest feedback my food does come out how I desire every time . This place isn’t going to be for everyone either . Just to touch base on several reviews that say this place has way too many unflavored reviews . If you think the sauce is too much then request it . Simple . My mom is diabetic and always requested her food to be unflavored . Especially with the sauce . For anyone who else feels that the food portions isn’t enough , put it this way . We live in a different economy and state of society where food portions are no longer what they use to be 10 years ago. Be realistic . The food can or won’t be to your liking if you just order directly from the menu. I have to fine tune my meal to where I’ve tried multiple different dishes they serve to finally decide my favorite . Food is fulfilling and delicious on behalf how you order it . If you bend over backwards on reviews and feel as if these reviews are favoring the spot then don’t even bother eating here go elsewhere. I’ve supported for the past 3 years even after my minor dislikes that I’ve had with my dishes . To where now I know what I want and how I want it . Take this REVIEW fo your opportunity to consider this place and TRY it . If it’s not your cup of tea then go waste 40$ + on greasy , under valued , & mediocre restaurants around the area because I’ve ATE EVERY location . So far Martinez does NOT have good selections.
